We’re in the final stretch now, and I am so excited to kick off this final push with a sixth stretch goal unlocked!
Let’s get right into the brass tacks, because I’m very excited about our options this time around:
A: Premium Recovery Mats (add-on)
B: Foil Slippy card
C: Quest Snake sticker sheet included in all base + deluxe copies of the game
Important notes for each option:
Option A: This was a popular request from backers, so we made it a priority to sort out the logistics with Whatz Games (our manufacturer). The premium mats will be made with 2.0mm thick neoprene rubber and stitched edging. A few key points to note:
- These mats will not be included in any reward tier and will only be available as a $30 add-on, which will include the full bundle of 6 mats.
- We will do our best to ensure the mats fit in the box, but we cannot guarantee it, as six 2.0mm thick mats are significantly thicker than the original mats.
Option B: The foil Slippy card will be in addition to the regular, non-foil Slippy card. So you’ll get two Slippys! If some of y’all are like me, you like to keep your foils safe and don’t play with them much. So the extra copy ensures Slippy never misses out on the fun!
Option C: We will create an assortment of our favorite Quest Snake art for a sticker sheet, which will be included in all copies of Quest Snakes!
Okay, that should cover everything! Y'all are incredible humans, and I can't wait to see where this vote goes!

Hey y'all!
I just have a quick update for everyone regarding the 6th Guild Leader of Quest Snakes. If you didn't already know, you can nominate your snake to be featured on one of the Recovery Mats in the game. For more information, please check out the "Nominate Your Snake" section of our page.
Tomorrow (10/27), Vee and I will be selecting 10 snakes as finalists and posting them for a community vote to decide which snake will be immortalized in Quest Snakes as a legendary guild leader! You’ll be able to vote by commenting on the update we post tomorrow.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know. Y'all have been amazing throughout this whole experience, and we are so grateful for all of the support. I can't wait to see what these last few days have in store for us!

👋 Quick update as we approach our final week!

Hey gang, Dick Durden here, sharing a quick update as we gear up for the final week of our Kickstarter!
As of today, we are sitting at over 1120% funded.
You all seriously rock. The love and support shared on this project has made this an October that Vee and I will never forget.
There are a few items I wanted to quickly flag for you all to look forward to:

Keep an eye out towards the end of our campaign for the Tabletop Simulator Tournament announcement! We plan to host this via our Discord after the campaign concludes. We will be giving out Quest Snakes related prizes, so you don't want to miss out!
- Speaking of, if you haven't joined our Discord — what are you waiting for?! It has grown into quite the fun little gathering of over 370 Quest Snakes enthusiasts. We have a LOT in the pipeline post-Kickstarter, and Discord will be the best place to get updates before anyone else.
- Finally, we are really close to that 6th Stretch Goal! We've got the best options yet for this next one, so be sure to share the campaign with friends and family to help us get there!

For all you snake lovers looking to extend your love to the other animals of the world, our friends over at Moon Saga Workshop have a wonderful game called Parks & Potions. Players assume the role of Park Rangers who use Botanical Alchemy to Heal Wildlife. We think you'd absolutely enjoy the theme and the quick and easy gameplay. The campaign ends in 2 days!

I was just hanging with the founder, Chris Eastridge, at a local game shop and got to watch some folks experience the game for the first time. The components are really juicy, and the whole experience is super chill and fun. My only ask is this: if you choose to back them as well, please take a picture of Quest Snakes and Parks & Potions next to each other on your game shelf, because that would be cute AF.

✨ We’ve got some exciting news about your Quest Snake boxes...

THEY ARE GETTING A VISUAL UPGRADE!
That's right, the winning vote for the fifth stretch goal was the box upgrade! We are already chatting with our manufacturer, Whatz Games, about how we can add extra bits of polish to the box with gold foil and UV effects to ensure that Quest Snakes pops on your game shelf. As I mentioned in the last update, the quality of work Whatz can do on their game boxes was a huge reason why Vee and I ultimately chose to work with them. So, I was personally very excited to see this option get selected.
All of this is only possible thanks to the passionate support y'all have been pouring into Quest Snakes. I hope I'm not sounding like a broken record, but it really means the world to Vee and me. This whole experience has been life-changing, and we're so humbled by your support.
That said, we still have 12 days to go in the campaign — plenty of time to unlock more stretch goals! We don't want to leave things like holographic Slippy, upgraded recovery mats, and sticker sheets behind! Please consider sharing Quest Snakes with your friends, family, and fellow gamers who enjoy games similar to For Sale, Biblios, Doomlings, and Here to Slay. I'm so proud and grateful to share that Quest Snakes has hit a massive milestone, breaking 100k in pledges. From the bottom of my heart, Vee and I just want to thank you all so much for your support.
Before we get into stretch goals, I have an important announcement.
As part of our 4th stretch goal, today at 4 PM CT we will be adding 3 slots to the "Immortalize Your Snake" reward tier. We started the campaign with just 3 slots, but it was voted in as the 4th stretch goal to add 3 more slots. For most of you, this simply means you'll get 3 additional snakes in your game (base game and deluxe), and nothing needs to be done.
However, for 3 of you, this means you'll have the opportunity to have your snake immortalized in our game. If you've already backed Quest Snakes, you can modify your pledge to this tier once it opens up. If you haven't backed Quest Snakes yet, you simply need to pledge to this tier. Please post any questions below!
Now, let's circle back to that fifth stretch goal...
As I mentioned in my previous update, I hear you loud and clear on wanting more game/component options rather than non-traditional stretch goals like TTS tournaments and tattoos. We made the last stretch goal a double whammy and decided we’d host the TTS tournament regardless — I’ll post more info on that in the next week or so as I finalize details.
So for this vote, we’re focusing on getting you more awesome Quest Snake goodies. Here are your options:

- For Option B: We will work with our manufacturer to add details like lux foil or metallic accents to take the quality of the box to the next level! Whatz is known for their amazing spot UV effects on boxes — it was one of the reasons we partnered with them after seeing their sample kit!
- For Option C: We will put together an assortment of our favorite Quest Snake art for a sticker sheet that will be included in all copies of Quest Snakes!
